Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian, located in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality veterinary care, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of animal health conditions. Responsibilities include performing routine wellness exams, developing treatment plans, conducting medical and surgical procedures, and educating pet owners about preventive health care. The role will also involve collaboration with veterinary technicians and other team members to ensure exceptional patient care.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in diagnosing medical conditions, performing wellness exams, and developing treatment plans
  • Expertise in performing routine surgical and dental procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate and work collaboratively with pet owners and team members
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated skills in documentation and record-keeping
  • Veterinary license in good standing to practice in Texas
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on veterinary innovations
  • Experience in small animal or companion animal medicine is preferred
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
